Nikola Jovanović was born in 1987 in Mojkovac. He holds a degree in Law and a specialist degree in Legal Sciences in the field of Civil Law, obtained from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro in Podgorica.
Throughout his career, he has held several responsible positions within the Parliament of Montenegro and the Municipality of Budva, including legal expert, Acting Head of the Office of the President of the Municipality, Acting Municipal Manager, President of the Municipal Assembly of Budva, and Deputy Mayor of Budva. Since February 2025, he has been serving as the President of the Municipality of Budva.
He has been actively involved in the political life of Montenegro, and in the 2024 local elections in Budva, he was the head of the citizens’ group electoral list “Budva Our City.”
