Erkut Alkaya
Erkut Alkaya is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of international corporate experience across technology, telecommunications, automotive, and industrial sectors. After a distinguished career in global companies such as BlackBerry, Nortel Networks, and Siemens, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and investment in 2024.
He is the Founder & CEO of Nu Group and a driving force behind Group’s expansion across energy, technology, and construction. His work focuses on building next-generation, integrated ecosystems combining smart energy systems, IoT, and advanced connectivity technologies such as non-cellular 5G (DECT NR+) and AI-driven platforms.
Beyond technology, Mr. Alkaya is leading a transformative approach in the construction and real estate sector. Through modular construction, advanced steel structures, high technology integration, and smart home & smart building concepts, his vision is to redefine how living spaces are designed and operated. By combining high levels of renewable energy integration with sustainability-driven design, he aims to create energy-independent, intelligent, and future-ready living environments—bringing a disruptive, next-generation perspective to the construction industry.
Mr. Alkaya holds BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as an MBA from Middle East Technical University (METU), one of Türkiye’s leading universities. He also brings significant international experience, having lived and worked in Canada and led business operations across Europe and emerging markets.
